This role will be located onsite at our Cylde, OH manufacturing plant.
In this role you will lead and drive accountability for WCM (World Class Manufacturing) implementation in the Maintenance area to achieve safety, quality, and cost targets.
Including the following specific activities:
Execution and completion of EWO (Emergency Work Order) with craftsman in timely manner for Root Cause Analysis and Countermeasure identification Lead craftsman in execution of PM Pillar expansion projects including updating of KPI/KAI's, presentation of projects to varying levels of plant Your responsibilities will include Manage 15-20 crafts on a daily basis between mechanics, electricians, and laborers Meet financial and productivity goals including daily OEE (Overall equipment effectiveness) and labor efficiency metrics Support lean initiatives in your area of responsibility for 5S, quality, and standardized work Ensure a safe and clean work environment Oversee and audit KRONOS for hourly associates as well as schedule manpower as needed Complete administrative paperwork (reports for safety, HR, payroll, attendance, vacation, etc.
) Work in a cross-functional environment with other departments to maintain equipment, meet schedules and to accomplish department goals Monitor and measure KPIs department performance Communicate effectively with associates, peers and division leadership to effectively manage the department Demonstrate Whirlpool Values and a Spirit of Winning Flexibility to change shifts or departments as needed to support Clyde Operations Minimum requirements High School Diploma or GED 2
years of experience in a Supervisor role 3
years of experience in a manufacturing environment 3
years of experience in maintenance environment Preferred skills and experiences Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree Journeyman's card SAP experience (Plant Maintenance Module) WCM (World Class Manufacturing) exposure (EWO, SMP, KPI, MTTR, MTBF) Understanding of statistical data analysis as well as project management and scheduling Proficient with Google and the utilization of a computer Effective communicator with the ability to support processes 24 hours a day A leader that can provide purpose, direction, and motivation Demonstrate the ability to provide an engaging work environment Champion for challenging existing practices Interpersonal skills and resolve conflict Lead cross-functional activities such as Lean/ Quality Kaizens, Safety investigations, and TPM activities Multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Communications skills that are carried out in an honest, open, factual, and professional manner Highly motivated, with excellent organizational skills and leadership behaviors Knowledge of manufacturing processes and operations desired and the ability to learn company philosophy, division policies, and procedures Job Type:
